Being a data professional involves staying up to date with relevant developments in the rapidly changing and expanding data landscape. As technology advances, it creates more ways to derive value from data and new data possibilities emerge that were not previously possible.
I follow industry leaders and thought leaders to find out what their sights are set on and how these insights can help improve deliverables to clients.
There are numerous data publications available in print or on the web and I have read a fair share and continue to reference a lot of the books. Some are staples which I cannot be without.
I have listed below, a few of the books in my current reading list both for research and in preparation for Data Management Certification. These books help shape my view and understanding of data in everyday data use and management.
